Competition Summit will include a number of social events: Welcome Reception, Turkish Folk Dance Show, Gala Reception, Hagia Sophia Museum Tour, Topkapi Palace Tour and a Bosphorus Tour, which will allow you to be acquainted with and enjoy the beauty of Istanbul.
- Welcome Reception on 31 October 2017
On the evening of 31 October 2017 a Welcome Reception and on the evening of November 1 a Gala Reception to allow participants to relieve the tiredness of the day accompanied by complimentary local food and drinks. Prior to Gala Reception, a Turkish Folk Dance show will be presented. The Welcome Reception, Turkish Folk Dance and Gala Reception will take place in “The Shangri-La Ballroom” at Shangri-La Bosphorus Istanbul Hotel.

On the evening of November 1 a Gala Reception to allow participants to relieve the tiredness of the day accompanied by complimentary local food and drinks. The venues for the Welcome Reception and Gala Reception will be announced on the Competition Summit website and also in the revised version of the Booklet when necessary arrangements are made.
- A guided tour to the Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapı Palace on November 2, 2017
On November 2, a guided tour to the Hagia Sophia Museum and Topkapı Palace Museum will be organized for participants.
The Hagia Sophia Museum is an ancient basilica built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century is often referred to as the eighth wonder of the World and among the architectural marvels of all times.
The Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya in Turkish) in Sultanahmet is one of the must-see places in Istanbul.

- Guided Bosphorus Tour on 3 November 2017
The final social event of Competition Summit is a guided Bosphorus Tour that will take place on November 3. This sightseeing cruise will enable you enjoy and explore Istanbul in approximately two and a half hour. The Bosphorus Cuisine will present you the spectacular views of the European and Asian sides of this fascinating city as you dine on Turkish specialties and enjoy music.
